| I used to deliver Hickinbottoms bread to this lovely old building in the mid to late seventies, the people that lived there were mainly elderly. I understand that quite a lot moved out shortly after while they were modernised but few moved back there as they were settled elsewhere. I remember one old lady who lived there who had a small room upstairs where she did her sewing, she had everything in that room. reels of cotton, wool, sewing machines. |
